What do the two goblets on the left have to do with Christmas?

CrystalHonestly, I’m not really sure. It could be that this is a holiday - it’s time to celebrate and raise our glasses for a toast. The problem is, these goblets are empty - this won’t exactly make for a happy toast, will it?

On that note, I could say that the empty glasses signify how it’s time to start anew. Then again, that description fits the new year more than it does Christmas.

Maybe the point isn’t that the glasses are empty. Of course, if I say that, I’m not sure what my starting point is anymore.

Of course, the simplest explanation I can offer is that I used this picture because I wanted to use it. I don’t need any other explanation than that, do I?

Merry Christmas!
