For a drive by shooter, the tools of the trade are projectile weapons and fast-moving vehicles. More often than not, these are firearms and cars.

Being a drive by shooter myself, I also use a high-speed vehicle - my car. When it comes to what I carry, however, my choice of tools differs from theirs. I use a camera instead of guns. Of course, If I had some money to burn, I could use both - and really live up to my monicker.

With this little bad boy on the left, I would really look like a drivebyshooter. Heck, I’d look like a sniper holding this thing. Driving might be a bit difficult, but I don’t really care. I’d look pretty damn cool (or pretty stupid), and that would be worth the hassle. Of course, I’d have to actually get my hands on it - and that won’t be easy. Why not? Well…

This beauty, also known as the Leica Gun Outfit Rifle, is described the rarest and most sought-after of all Leica accessories,” and it’s up for auction at the Tamarkin Photographica Rare Camera Auction on the 28th of January 2007. If that doesn’t make getting it hard enough, the Leica Gun, as listed in the catalog, is expected to sell for $35,000 to $65,000. That’s much more than I’m willing to spend on a single camera. Heck, even if I did want it that bad, I don’t have that kind of money lying around.
