Reasons for you not to be at the Blog Parteeh ‘07

For the nth time, I’m saying it - I’m not missing The Blog Parteeh! 2007. I’ve missed too many blogger events to let this one slip by. I’ve (1) blogged about it, (2) plugged the sponsors, (3) put in a Technorati tag for blogparteeh07, and (4) posted my email address. These four steps, according to this post, should be enough to secure me an invite.
Now, you might be wondering - why am I so hell-bent on going to this gig?
Do I want to meet up with blogger friends I haven’t seen in a while? They wish!
Am I looking to bump into people I’ve only known online? Yeah, right!
Am I excited about the networking opportunities and the extra traffic to my blog? Hell, no!

Forget the people I don’t know - I don’t even care about my friends there. In fact, I couldn’t care less about the extra traffic. I want that iPod!
Having said all that, I don’t think you should be at the Blog Parteeh. Seeing you there drops my chances of getting that iPod, those speakers, and basically getting any of the goodies they’re raffling off.
Stay away - I mean it. Don’t follow the instructions for getting an invite. Don’t even go near Classica Tower 2 along dela Costa in Makati (vicinity map here) this Saturday. I swear, I’ll pound your face in if I see you there. Heck, I’ll shoot you - I’m the drivebyshooter after all.
