Remember my Link Love 2007.02.06 post? Remember the one that highlighted blogs produced by UA&P-IMC students? Remember that I said it was a class project? Remember that I described it as an SEO contest? Remember? Well, we’re talking about a contest, so I’m sharing what I believe are the criteria for judging.
- ranking on a Google search for “UA&P“
- Percentage of posts with comments
- Unique visitors per day (according to Google Analytics, if I’m not mistaken)
- Average visit length (see above)
- Page views per visit (ditto)
- Technorati Ranking
Anyway, since this contest of sorts is ending on the 16th, I feel like giving just a little more love to these blogs. This won’t add anything to their Technorati rankings, but it just might send a few new visitors their way.
- Script ADDicts look like they’ve given up developing scripts. Instead, they’ve posted some cool videos from others. The latest post is a short film called A Piece of Mind.
- The UA&P Insider continues to give you “the latest scoops and news around campus,” this time by highlighting a clothing store across the street.
- UAPak: UA&P in your face! has found Checko. The team also calls out to all “Paparazzi at Heart” to help them keep their blog alive even after this semester.
- UA&P Notes offers up some Accounting Answer Keys.
- Bring Back the Nineties not only brings up a theory that the Crocs that are so popular today are simply recycled Jelly Shoes, but like the UAPak team, calls on others to help bring back the nineties.
Give them some love too if you like them. Me? I’m just trying to stir things up a little and see if maybe, just maybe, I can overtake all of them for the “UA&P” search.
