This edition of Link Love is about, well, link love.

• Rico discusses why you should link to his blog, mentioning that thanks to the Technorati Incoming Links Widget he just installed, you get some link love right back at you. I’ve done installed the same widget, so if you want some link love from drivebyshooter.net, you should link here too!
• This is “borrowed” from a previous edition of Link Love, but it’s another way to give some link love - kill the rel=nofollow option on comments:
  

  J. Angelo discusses the retirement, and possibly, the death of rel=nofollow. I’m for killing it off - Akismet and other programs out there are better at fighting spam. On a related note, I installed the DoFollow WP plugin a week ago or so - I just never announced it.

  Yup, that’s a reason for you to drop me some comments.

• This gives J. Angelo a little more link love, but since he did write about it, maybe you can use short URL services to deny others the link love they crave. Sites like the one Sassy is ranting about come to mind.
  
• Wendy Piersall from eMoms at Home writes in a guest post at ProBlogger.net about getting lots of link love. It’s a good read that by itself, gives a lot of link love to several others.
• Check out who gets the most link love in the Philippines. It won’t tell you how to get more links, but it’ll tell you how you compare with other Philippine blogs.
• Find out how a 13-year old Filipino kid jumped 50,000 spots on Alexa and got lots of link love in the process
• Liz Strauss is on a quest for 200 truly unique blogs. The latest (week 7) recap has the number hovering at around 75. An endorsement from an A-Lister (or is she more like a T-Lister) like Liz is bound to get you quite a bit of link love.
