Alive and Kicking
As of November 5, 2007, drivebyshooter.net will no longer be updated. For posts on photography, you can now go to LightChasers Photography. For the author's personal site, head over to the Dark Corner.
I haven’t been posting much here on drivebyshooter.net, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy. The opposite, in fact, is quite true - I’ve been too busy to really pay much attention to my own site. Sad, right? It’s ok though - like I mentioned before, I’ve got a lot of things on my plate.
For one thing, I’ve been working on Futsal Philippines, a blog about, you guessed it, futsal in the Philippines. Do check it out and tell me what you think of it so far. Be as brutal as you wish, but make sure anything you say is still constructive.
Another reason I’ve neglected drivebyshooter.net is PopPhoto Flash. Yup, that’s the blog site of the editors of Popular Photography & Imaging Magazine. I’ve been contributing to them recently - that means a lot of my photography related items, like this tip, have gone there. Do check it out.
I know - I’ve cannibalized my own blog by moving one of my main topics elsewhere, but it’s ok. This is, after all, a personal blog, right?
You can argue, of course, that I can still focus on photography in the Philippines. True - that is one of the things I wanted to do on this site. On the other hand, Shutter Box seems to have this covered pretty well already. I’m subscribed to the Shutter Box feed and I still can’t believe how fast news gets up on that site.
I’ve still got other tricks up my sleeve - don’t worry. I won’t let this blog die. It’s just resting…

Hi Luis!
Glad to see your tips in Pop Photo Flash. I’ve also seen a couple of tips coming from fellow Filipinos as well.
I’m happy to help out when I can since there are also times when Shutter Box Philippines goes into hibernation mode.
Looking forward to your next tips at Pop Photo Flash and more power to your projects
btw, this ajax edit comments plug-in of yours is great!
