It’s another installation of Link Love, the first for this month. The theme for this edition, beginnings.

• UAPak!!! takes over where The UA&P Campus Paparazzi and The UA&P Insider left off. Yup, the two blogs mentioned - you might remember them from older editions of Link Love - have joined forces to give you news about UA&P. By the way, UAPak!!! is just a week old.
• InXane Reality writes about the insanities of daily life. One such insanity - moving to a new office.
• The Kultura Blog welcomes you. Yes, that’s another blog that has just started. Unlike UAPak!!! though, this blog doesn’t have a whole lot of content built-in. It should grow soon though.
• A bit dated, but Shai Coggins is going has gone offline to have a baby. Yeah, I know, it’s old news, but it fits the theme, right? You can see pictures here, by the way. Finally, something about a new life, not a new blog.
• Going back to blogging, Jayvee has started BugCasting. I’ve got to ask him now, is that the proper verb form of BuggedCast?
• Pinoy.Tech.Blog wishes the Philippine Internet Connection a belated Happy Birthday. Yup, the Philippines made its first net connection over a decade ago on March 29, 1993. I admit, that’s even more dated than one of the earlier items.
• Yes, I’m plugging myself again, but this is important. Since last week, I’ve been using my real name when blogging. You can still call me (and link to me as) Elber if you want, but I’m using Luis for practically all of my correspondence.

In another series of link love, I mentioned Script ADDicts - a bunch of students who are shooting “an ongoing story that starts and ends and twists and turns the way you want it to.” I also mentioned that “all the authors involved [in the last series of links] are tied together somehow.” If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m telling you now - they’re all involved with the University of Asia and the Pacific somehow, either as students, employees, or alumni.

Anyway, what does all this have to do with this next bunch of links? Well, this batch is also exclusive to UA&P students. To be specific, this goes out to Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) seniors. You see, some of them are taking up a class called Interactive Marketing. From what I understand, one of their projects is to build a blog. Think of an SEO contest run within the context of a class syllabus. They’ve got to encourage traffic to their sites - and I’m trying to help them out.

You might say that with my readership, I’m probably not going to be able to send more than a handfuls of visitors their way. I don’t really care. Some of these blogs made me laugh, and who knows - they might make you laugh too. Then again, I think I laughed more because I knew the personalities mentioned. I’m not saying that you’ll only appreciate these links if you’re from UA&P - it’s just some of them really are meant for UA&P students. Still, I suggest you at least visit all of the sites I’ve mentioned below.
Having said all that, I think I’ve got (more than) enough of an introduction for these next few links. Enjoy!

Yes, I know it has only been two days since my last (and first) link love post, but can you stop me? No? Ok. Now we know who’s boss ’round here, I’m serving up another bunch of links. All the authors involved are tied together somehow. How? If you know them, you’ll know. If not, well, just read on. I’m sure you’ll find some clues somewhere. In any case, you might not find out the answer to the previous question, but you might have a few more blogs to add to your daily reads.

• Valerie threatens to kill herself if she’s asked to make another revision to a poster she’s been working on. If you ask me, she did a wonderful job. I’m sure she’s also exaggerating.
• Jayvee pits Pinoy Tech Blog against PWiT: Philippine Week in Tech in a head-to-head battle. Well, not really - but I can’t explain. Just go read his post.
• Script ADDicts continues to shoot “an ongoing story that starts and ends and twists and turns the way you want it to.”

• Abe is upgrading to Wordpress 2.1, also known as Ella. I’m most excited about the fact that the “new tabbed editor allows you to switch between WYSIWYG and code editing instantly while writing a post.”

• On to tastier bits, that girl that was Sorsi raves about being able to have SEX “every night…kahit anong oras ko gusto…kahit isa sa gabi, isa sa umaga okay lang.”
• In seemingly related news, ChrisH raves about a hilarious short film on the importance of protection when getting intimate with another person - and no, we’re not talking about rubbers. On another note, that was a very long run-on sentence, wasn’t it?
• For more proof of how verbose I can be, see what happens when Bulletproof Vest has fires 10 questions with yours truly and I fire back. If your survive that, be sure to check out his interviews Dranreb Belleza and several others.
• Last, but definitely not least, Jessica Zafra proves her dominion over the universe by discussing the confusion of mangoes and birds. How that proves she rules the universe, I’m not quite sure.
