Going by more than one name is tricky - I should know. Some of you know me as Luis - that’s my real name. The thing is, most of you reading this probably know me as Elber. Don’t worry - that really is my name too. It’s my nickname, yes, but it’s still a name I go by.
Still some of you know me only by my handles: drivebyshooter, and for older followers of my blog (if there are any), driver ng bayan - so the names Luis and Elber don’t really mean anything to you. Also, handles don’t really count, right?
At this point, most of you are probably wondering what I’m trying to get at. Honestly, I’m not really sure either. So if it would please you, indulge me for a few moments.
I want to drop one of my names - at least while blogging. Why? I feel like it. As you read this, I’m sure it will be obvious which name I’m keeping.

I designed these last month, but I’m only uploading them now. If you think that’s delaying, you should know that I haven’t had these printed yet. I’m pretty smart, ain’t I?

So, what do you think? I’m probably not having them all printed, so your comments will probably help me decide which designs to keep. Some of them have already seen a first run of prints - those will probably see another run soon.

I used to pose lots of questions to my readers. You can find some examples in my polls section - you might have to scroll down quite a bit though. I miss those things - so I’m in an interrogative mood again. I also happen to be hungry, so if you think this whole line of questioning has a theme to it, you’ll know why.
Anyway, are you in the mood to answer questions? Read on…

I’ve discovered a few things recently, and I’ve got a few people to thank for that. I’ve also been thinking a lot - asking questions, wondering, and basically letting my mind roam. I don’t know who or what to thank for that, but I’ve got this site to thank for letting me air those thoughts. So, what’s on my mind?

If you haven’t seen version 1 of this, I suggest you check it out here. If you have, here’s an updated version for you.
Do you like what you see? What is it, exactly, that you see? Heck, I’ll ask some of the old questions now.
What does this look like to you? Does it resemble anything in particular? What do you see?
What I’m trying to get at is this - does it look even remotely like a camera? Yes, now that I’ve mentioned it, it probably does look like one. The more important issue, however, is whether you saw the camera before I clued you in. So, did you?
If you didn’t, why not? What did it look like? What, in your opinion, can I do to make it easier to see?
That being said, I’m repeating some of the questions I asked before. Can you suggest ways to improve it? Do you have anything at all to say about it?
Again, thank you for your time.

What does this look like to you? Does it resemble anything in particular? Do you see any symbols in it?
What do you see?Do you like it? Do you hate it? Does it evoke any emotions at all? Do you even care what it is? Why? Why not?
Can you suggest ways to improve it? Do you have anything at all to say about it?

I have my business cards already. Unfortunately, I found a typo on them, and it’s too late to fix it. My email and phone details or correct, but my site address isn’t.
You see, I had originally put www.drivebyshooter.net as my address. I then figured that the “www” prefix was unnecessary, so I took it out. The layout on the card then looked slightly off-balance - at least I thought so. I then decided to put in “http://” to balance it out again. What I didn’t notice was that I had forgotten to delete the period, the dot, or whatever you want to call it. It now reads http://.drivebyshooter.net - yes, with that dot.
I wonder if people will notice. Obviously, I didn’t see it when I put it there, but now it’s grating on me. If other people see the card, do you think they’ll notice the extra dot? Would you? Until somebody can assure me that this won’t be an issue, I will have 125 cards that I’m not sure I’m going to use. Even if I do use them, I’m still not going to be very happy about it.
Yes, I’m a perfectionist, and yes, I’m being anal about this. My question is, why shouldn’t I be? This is my business card - and if my card has an error on it, what does it say about me?

Does this image remind you of anything? If it does, what? Why?
Can you figure out what it is? What do you think it I think it is? Rather, what do you think I think it looks like?
Was the previous question badly phrased? Did it confuse you? Heck, were all the previous questions badly phrased? While we’re at it, is this confusing you?
Should I just stop? I should end this torture now, shouldn’t I?
