Shooting sports isn’t easy: you can’t just point a camera in the directions of the action, click away, and expect spectacular results. It’s a good thing then that the May-June 2007 issue of Mobile Philippines: The Ultimate Guide to Mobile Technology has a primer on sports photography.
They can’t spell my name right (there’s an “o” missing there somewhere), but they’ve got more than a handful of phone reviews, advice on Formula 1 racing, tips on underwater photography, and of course, some sports photography tips. On top of that, fellow bloggers Jayvee, Markku, and Rico also add to the heft of this issue.
If that doesn’t get you, they’ve got another gorgeous geek on the cover. In this issue, Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles graces the cover. If that isn’t reason enough, then I’ll go back to my first one - there’s a primer on sports photography in this issue, and I wrote it.
If you’re my friend, that should be reason enough for you to grab your own copy. If not, you should get one anyway.

For some reason, I can’t think of anything to write. I wrote something earlier about pushing ringtones, but I decided to post in on Mobile Philippines instead. I’m not sure if it’s up already there It’s up there already, but that’s not what’s important. What matters is that I have nothing to write on my personal blog.
What also matters is the reason for this mental block. I think I can blame this on Sango. I was there this afternoon and now, three hours later, I still feel stuffed. My brain has been starved of oxygen because all my blood is rushing to my gut.
Oh well. There are much better things to do than blog on a Sunday.

I’ve learned of two new photography contests: one sponsored by Cebu Pacific Air’s Smile Magazine, and the other by The All-Pinoy GSM Forum. You want details, read on…

I posted an article on Mobile Philippines recently about rumors of a “budget” Treo in the works, rumored to be called the Treo 680. Rumor has it that this rumor is true. Rumor also has it that (as I wished for) this Treo will have Bluetooth capabilities.
Okay, I apologize for the weird tone of the previous paragraph and all the talk of rumors. Let me just, once again, let others speak for me. Rico, a fellow m-ph.com guest blogger, has posted a rumored list of specifications for the Treo 680, also on Mobile Philippines. Let it now be known that I am not the only one spreading rumors. Strangely enough, he hasn’t posted anything on this rumored Treo on another tech blog he writes for, The Smart PDA. Oh well…
Once again, I apologize. I’m hungry and my brain isn’t working too well as a result. On top of that [warning: geek speak ahead], I’m excited about having Bluetooth and A2DP on this phone. I just can’t wait to get my hands on it. Now I just need to sell my O2 XDA IIs. Anybody interested?

No, that isn’t what the title refers to. Yes, I know I drive fast, but we measure speed in this country by kilometers per hour. Besides, the dash should have told you it wasn’t about speed - otherwise I would’ve typed in MPH, MpH, or something like that. What I’m referring to is m-ph.com, the online version of Mobile Philippines.
Yes, it is widely known that I’m a gadget geek - but what does Mobile Philippines have to do with me? Well, I blog for m-ph.com now. I actually started just under a week ago, but it took me that long to post it here. Just for that, I’ll say it again - I’m a guest blogger for Mobile Philippines. Not a bad gig, eh?
